“I didn’t rate you as a player, I don’t rate you as a manager and I don’t rate you as a person. You’re a f****** w*****. You can stick your World Cup up your b*******.” - this has to be my favourite.
The man is just pure rage and vitriol - legend.

What's the correct bus protocol?
I used to think using a bus was a pretty simple thing to do but that was until I broke my foot (an outpouring of sympathy would be greatly appreciated) and now I have to use the bus everyday.
Standard protocol I thought was to get on the bus, say to the driver where you are going, he tells you the price and you pay it.* A ticket is then printed that you can collect and you can take a seat - if...
Dominican Republic mulls ban on bizarre names →
An amusing news story that gets me wondering whether you can sell your child’s naming rights to a big corporation. Arsenal did it with the Emirates Stadium and in the Dominican Republic parents are naming their children after cars and presumably getting nothing for it! Does anyone have any suggestions for the most profitable baby names?!

Mongol directed by Sergei Bodrov.
According to this film, it turns out Genghis was a bit of a mummy’s boy and though a good strategist in battle, deferred to his beloved wife on some key political decisions. I wouldn’t say that to his face of course.
It’s well worth a watch although I did feel a little underwhelmed at times and it ended just as it was getting really good but...
Exciting times at Tesco...
I watched helplessly on my crutches as a little bit of doughnut pilfering escalated into a wrestling match.
As Tesco always say but what does it mean? As far as I know little isn’t a noun.
Charlie Brooker and his Newswipe: Episode 4 →
Another good episode - very funny, if a little scary.
When I first heard about this series I thought, it’s been done by Chris Morris and to an extent is being done by Jon Stewart. This is a good amalgam of both formats without the often annoying guest you get on The Daily Show. The best bit for me is the feature report - this week there was a good dissection of the MMR palaver...

Am I too early for this bandwagon?
Welcome to my new Tumblelog - hopefully I can commit to this one better than an ordinary blog. I started about 5 of them and got bored - this time I will persevere.
I am Ben - I finished uni last summer, since then I’ve been a bum, a Tesco employee, a Mad Scientist, the work experience kid and now I work at ITV (they make television) but only until June...
